Volunteering from Civil Engineering students
A group of 8 students from Civil Engineering 4th year are working as per
the direction of Civil Structure Assessment Team to access damages to
the buildings in KU. The team led by Kanchan Niraula (Civil Engg. 4th year) comprises Milan Khadka, Saroj Neupane, Nabin Kafle, Prabhash Pokharel, Bal Krishna Dahal, Pujan Shrestha and Samrat Raut.
As per the initial inspection, there are cases of minor damage in the buildings. The students shall submit their reports in a few days to Prof Dr. Ramesh Kumar Maskey and Dr. Prachand Man Pradhan who are leading a five member team including Mr. Shyam Sundar Khadka, Mr. Ramesh Adhikari and Mr. Anjani Koiral formed for the Inspection and Reporting of Structural Damages.
